Dr. Mora Cervenka grew up near New Prague, where she currently resides with her husband and two children. Dr. Cervenka attended the University of St. Thomas and received her doctorate from the University of MN School of Dentistry in 2002. Dr. Cervenka worked in a private practice before joining Strait Smiles. She enjoys working in the relaxed small town atmosphere of Belle Plaine! Dr. Cervenka likes many outdoor activities, gardening, restoration of their 100 year old home and especially enjoys spending time with her children. Dr. Cervenka has a special interest in TMJ disorders, pediatrics and cosmetic dentistry.
History of the Practice
Dr. Strait bought this dental office from Dr. Robert Miller in 1996. For several years it operated under Gnewuch and Miller Family Dentistry which was named for Dr. Strait's maiden name and prior owner. In 1998 Dr. Strait married Dr. Cale Strait and changed the office name to Strait Smiles Family Dentistry. Dr. Cale …Strait is an endodontist who works with a specialty group in Minneapolis, Edina, and Chaska, as well as at Strait Smiles.
In 2002 a long-time goal was realized when Dr. Baune, Dr. Strait's sister, joined Strait Smiles, making Strait Smiles truly a family practice. With an expanding practice, Dr. Cervenka joined Strait Smiles in 2005.
