Dr Watson and his staff are very professional and caring. Dr Watson is one of a few dentists that I know that returned to their hometown to try and make a difference. With his expertise and knowledge, Dr Watson could have opened his dental practice any place in NC or elsewhere as a matter of fact. He cares for his patients and his staff. I speak from experience. It's not something anyone told me. In today's society with all the DSO's popping up all over the place, he continues to provide excellent care to all, to include, but not limited to the underserved, underinsured, Medicaid, SWAP, Community, Health, Cash, Insurance and others. He remains true to the profession that he took the oath over 30 years ago! I commend Dr Watson for all that he does for the Laurinburg community and surrounding areas. If you go to Dr. Watson for anything: you are a darn fool! I was warned by current UNC faculty NOT to come to Dr. Watson because of years of them having to repair his "work" on low income patients. I thought they were exaggerating, but I was wrong. Not only is he technically incompetent, but he doesn't give one single solitary care about patient outcomes. It's as if he does shoddy work on purpose, so that he can charge two or more times for the same procedures. Any prosthetic work (crowns, partials, dentures) is guaranteed to fail in as little as 30 days and when they do: he's going to deny responsibility and charge you again! Pain? Infection? Not his problem. Emergency? His staff will not relay the message. He's not possibly the worst dentist in NC: he IS the worst dentist in NC. Because most of his patients are Medicaid and elderly, he has no reason to care. He's one of the few options in the Triangle. Additionally his front office staff is unprofessional (taking personal calls while… patients are waiting to check in), they're cruel. Like telling patients with emergencies they'll have to wait 2 weeks or more, all while NEVER telling Dr Watson. Dr. Watson's speciality is overbilling Medicaid and doing horrible work.
