Dr. Nabeel Rahman, DDS

Dr. Rahman, DDS is a Chesapeake Virginia Dentist who has been in practice in Hampton Roads since 1994. Conveniently located in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake Virginia, Dr. Rahman’s dental patients come from all over the area, including Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk and Northeastern North Carolina.

Dr. Rahman earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1987. After college, he worked at a biotechnology and research company in Mclean, Virginia. In 1992 he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at The Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry (VCU), Richmond. In 1994 Dr. Rahman then completed one year advanced education general residency at College of California San Francisco. During the residency his areas of special interest were advanced training in prosthodontics, temporamandibular disorders and cosmetic dentistry.

What does all that mean? It means that Dr. Rahman has the education, training and experience to take care of all your dental needs. Whether it’s general dentistry for preventative care or cosmetic and restorative services, it all includes the health of your teeth and gums. Dr. Rahman has been a member of numerous local study clubs, attended various symposiums and world congress meetings related to Implant Dentistry. As a highly trained dentist, he has completed numerous implant surgery hands on training courses at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has also attended continuing education courses with The Pride Institute in Periodontal surgery and bone grafting.

Dr. Rahman lives in Virginia Beach with his wife (a local optometrist) and two children. He is involved in his community with numerous activities which include youth soccer coach, assistant basketball coach, and volunteering with Boy Scouts of America and at his children's schools. In addition to dentistry, his hobbies include working out, playing soccer, golfing, barbecuing and spending time with his family.
