Dr. Nancy Hein joined Professional Lane Dental Associates in July, 2001. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham.
During her studies at UAB School of Dentistry, Dr. Hein was the first recipient of the David Greer Endowment Scholarship Award. She also received the coveted Dean’s Medal, selected by the dean for outstanding scholarship and leadership by a graduating senior. She also received plaques from Birmingham District Dental Society and the Alabama Dental Association Student Leadership Award.
Dr. Hein is involved in numerous professional and community organizations. She has held all offices of the Third District Dental Society. She is a member of the Alabama Dental Association, the UAB Dental Alumni Association, as well as AL-D-PAC, and the Alabama Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Hein is a member of the Dothan-Houston County Rotary Club, and The Dothan Runners Club. She is a member of Harvest United Methodist Church.
Dr. Hein and her …husband, Vern, reside in Dothan. They have two daughters, Carly Williams and Valerie Hein, and two grandchildren. She enjoys running, gardening and dancing with her husband.
