Dr. Nasser Karam Antonious

Dr. Nasser Antonious is a graduate of the Alexandria Dental School, Alexandria, Egypt. He received his dental degree in 1980 and obtained his California Dental License in 1989. Dr. Antonious has dedicated his professional career to providing his patients with the best that dentistry has to offer.
Prior to establishing his private practice in Sunnyvale, Dr. Antonious held the position of Dental Director with a large dental group that maintains multiple locations throughout Southern California.
Dr. Antonious is an active member of the Santa Clara Dental Society, the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The American Association of Hospital Dentists (AAHD), The Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities (ADPD), The American Society for Geriatric Dentistry (ASGD), The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS).
Dr. Antonious regularly attends professional …meetings to continually upgrade himself and his practice with the newest and latest techniques and approaches in the Art of Dentistry.
It is difficult to enumerate all the countless courses and programs that Dr Antonious participated in throughout his long career in Dentistry, the following will highlight some of his recent accomplishments.
Dr. Antonious attended an Advanced Concepts in Cosmetic Dentistry Program at The Northern California Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry. This hands on program focuses on dental cosmetics and full mouth reconstruction and rehabilitation. He also studied The Concepts of Complete Dentistry and completed Levels I, II and III with the internationally recognized Dr. Peter Dawson, at The Dawson Academy in Florida. He is certified in Lumineers porcelain veneer system and Invisalign Orthodontics.
In Endodontics (root canal therapy), amongst the many programs and workshops Dr Antonious completed, he also participated in a post graduate course with Advanced Endodontics in Santa Barbara, where he was trained by the World renowned Endodonist, Dr. Cliff Ruddel.
In 2006 Dr. Antonious attended one on one training-level one and two- in Oral Surgery and wisdom teeth extractions with Dr James Garibaldi - Clinical Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic in the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. In 2007 he joined the Periodontal Crown Lengthening Study Club at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. There he had extensive and advanced hands on surgical and clinical experience with patients and a full understanding of periodontics (gum disease), under the direct supervision of Dr William Lundergan- Chairperson of the Department of Periodontics in UOP.
Dr Antonious loves working with children. In 2007 he participated in a comprehensive pediatric dentistry and special patient care program in Chicago, Illinois where he was trained by Dr Fred Margolis, the Director of the Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
Dr Antonious attended the San Francisco Implant Dentistry Continuum 2006 and 2007, a nine month implant training program. He also completed a mini-residency program in implant dentistry in Noble Bio Care Training Institute. In 2006 Dr Antonious was awarded the Fellowship Status of The International Congress of Implantologists. Dr Antonious obtained his Mastership in the American Academy of General Dentistry in the year 2008, one of dentistry's most prestigious awards.
In his leisure time, Dr. Antonious is an avid reader and a movie aficionado. He loves music and attends concerts frequently. He enjoys snorkeling, something he did on a daily basis back home when he lived near the shores of the red sea. Dr Antonious played soccer for 25 years and has recently settled for watching soccer games on TV. His love of dentistry is only surpassed by his love of family.
