Nealy Newkirk, D.D.S.
Dr. Nealy Newkirk grew up in Emporia, Kansas where she was very active in her high school and community. She received a Bachelor of Science in Life Science/Pre-Dentistry from Kansas State University, and then she received an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Johnson County Community College. She has worked as a dental assistant and dental hygienist which gives her great experience in all aspects of dentistry.
After graduating from dental hygiene school she felt that dental school was her true calling and was accepted into the University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School where she received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005. Dr. Newkirk graduated with honors in operative dentistry at UMKC.
Dr. Newkirk is a volunteer for the Kansas Special Olympics dental screenings and the Kansas Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. She is also affiliated with many professional dental organizations such as the American Dental Association, the …Douglas County Dental Society and the CEREC study club. She is married to Kevin Newkirk, a KU graduate and they have three children.
