Dr. Nichole Martin grew up in Kirkland and received three scholarships to the University of Washington, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in 2003. During college she pursued her passion for dentistry by working as a dental assistant.
After college, Nichole attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 2007. During dental school she gained extensive experience in dental emergencies by working in the University Dental Emergency Clinic.
Nichole returned to Seattle after dental school and immersed herself into the profession, working five different jobs six to seven days a week. These jobs included work in two different private practices, as well as a geriatric clinic with mobile equipment. She also taught in the dental program at Lake Washington Technical College and performed military pre-deployment exams all over the state; work she continues to do.
These experiences …helped her to develop her comprehensive clinical skills in root canals, restorations, dental implants, emergencies, surgery and more. Seniors, children, and anxious patients appreciated her calm demeanor and gentle touch.
Dental Excellence and a Commitment to Community
Now she is happy to use those skills and experiences in her own dentist practice in Lynnwood, WA-serving patients from Lynnwood, Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace and the surrounding area. Her staff supports her commitment to dental excellence, and she strives to have the most up-to-date dental equipment.
Dr. Martin is committed to furthering her education and regularly attends continuing education courses. She also belongs to the Seattle Study Club, meeting monthly with specialists and other general dentists who review patient cases and share opinions on how to approach each case. She also volunteers periodically with Medical Teams International, providing free dental service to the homeless.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association and the Seattle-King County Dental Society. Dr. Martin was chosen as a Seattle’s Top Dentist of 2009 by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine.
