Summary
I entered the dental field because of my passion and desire to help people achieve optimal oral health, and this continues to excite me every single day. Meeting our patients, getting to know them, and seeing their reactions at the end of their treatment are a constant thrill. Knowing I am a part of bringing them to a greater awareness about dental care makes me proud.
Education
I began my college education at Western Washington University where I made the Dean's List and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry in 2001. In 2006 I graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington and also completed a Fellowship in the Dental Education in Care of Persons with Disabilities. As a firm believer in continuing education, I have gone on to receive specialized training and certification:
Basic Life Support Certification, American Heart Association
Blood Borne Pathogen Training Certification
Early Childhood Oral Health Certification
…Access to Baby and Child Dentistry Program Certified
Faculty Positions and Study Clubs
I am currently an Affiliate Faculty member in the Restorative Dentistry department for the University Of Washington School Of Dentistry. I enjoy teaching at the dental school guiding the students in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.
I am also active in the Great Blue Heron Seattle Study Club, the Jet City Study Club and participate in a Tucker Gold Study Club. By keeping active in various study clubs I am able to stay up on the latest technologies and techniques to provide the best service to my patients.
I am honored to be voted one of Seattle Met's Top Dentists for 2014, 2015 and 2016 by my colleagues and peers.
