As a Pediatric Dental Office committed toprevention of oral disease, we offer different presentations with video tapes and brochures, that are available at no cost, to schools, day care centers, community organizations, clubs, physicians offices, expecting parents, and other groups. Cash or Check, VISA, Master Card, Discover, AMEX, or Care Credit
After the initial visit, if any treatment is needed, a written treatment plan with …different options pertaining to your child's need will always be presented before treatment. Also, an estimate of the fees, the number of visits required, and when applicable, the estimated amount your insurance will pay will be provided prior to treatment.
If you have insurance, we will submit directly to the insurance company as a courtesy to you. You will be responsible for any deductible amounts, coinsurances, or any balance not paid by your insurance company, at the time of service.
Initial Appointment
We closely follow the recommendations of the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and offer three different types of initial appointments.
Dental Health Counseling visit for infants.
Dental Health Counseling and screening examination for 12 months to 2 ½ year olds. (Toddler Screenings)
Formal First Routine Dental Visits for 3 year olds.
Dental Treatment Appointments
As specialists in Pediatric Dentistry, we pride ourselves in the use of positive reinforcement techniques to help the children who need treatment to have good experiences.
Part of our specialty training is the use of nitrous oxide and oral sedation. This can be used for young children who need extensive treatment, medically compromised children and/or patients with previous traumatic dental experiences, and for special needs patients. We also have privileges at Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment under general anesthesia.
Emergency Care
Our office offers emergency coverage for our patients. If you have an after hours emergency, please call our office and our emergency service will guide you to the Pediatric Dentist on call.
