Dr. Nima Mashkouri understands that the intrinsic rewards of keeping patients happy and healthy are what shape and define his role in the field of dentistry.  His friendly personality and consideration for each person’s needs helps maintain an open communication between doctor and patient.  His patients are able to comfortably relax in a stress-free environment while he works efficiently and effortlessly to make each visit a pleasant one.   
Dr. Mashkouri received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.  Upon graduating he was also honored with the Clinical Excellence Award.  Eager to master the art of cosmetic dentistry and smile design, he went on to complete a residency program in Esthetic Dentistry with Esthetic Professionals in Tarzana, CA.  Dr. Mashkouri has been involved in both private practice and academics in the states of Arizona and California. 
His …passion for teaching led him to teach as a clinical faculty at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and at USC School of Dentistry. Throughout these clinical experiences he mentored many dental students and future residents in the areas of restorative and emergency dentistry.  His advice and insight contributed to a very enriching learning experience for the students. The desire to broaden dental knowledge reflects Dr. Mashkouri’s commitment towards advancing his post-doctorate education.  He has attended numerous seminars and conferences across the country while completing hundreds of hours of Continuing Education.
Building on his general dentistry skills, Dr. Mashkouri further advanced his techniques by becoming proficient at root canal therapy.  His dedication to this trade led him to complete a year of advanced training in postgraduate Endodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. With talents focused in a strong background of cosmetic dentistry and root canal therapy, Dr. Mashkouri has expanded his interests towards oral surgery and implantology. Having sufficient dental options allows his patients to make informed choices in securing their long term oral health.
Having grown up in Southern California, Dr. Mashkouri attended University of California, Irvine where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. He then continued his education in Microbiology at UCLA. During his undergraduate experience Dr. Mashkouri enjoyed studying languages such as French, Italian and Spanish.
