Nykkol Aldridge, DDS, was born in Washington, DC. She attended Howard University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biology, minoring in Chemistry, and graduating with honors. In 2003 she went on to study dentistry at Howard University’s College of Dentistry where she received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. During her time at Howard University College of Dentistry, she was awarded scholarships from Howard University, Robert E. Kellogg Foundation, & the United States Air Force. After graduating from dental school in 2007, she was commissioned as a Captain into the United States Air Force & served her country at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi as a dental resident. In 2008 she completed her residency program with a certificate for Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Following completion of residency, she continued to serve her country as a general dentist at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL. In addition to serving her country, Dr. Aldridge also …spent time serving meals to the homeless & provided mentoring activities to church youth. In August 2010, Dr. Aldridge completed her military service & was honorable discharged. Dr. Aldridge continues to use her professional & leadership skills as a dentist at Kool Smiles cooperation. Her dedication to her patients recently earned her promotion to State Dental Director.
