Upon entering the Army, Dr. Barber was commissioned as a Captain and attended a year-long residency in general dentistry (AEGD-1) at Fort Sill, OK before completing a tour at Camp Casey, Korea. Before becoming a qualified dentist in Fayetteville, NC, she completed her military obligation at Fort Bragg, NC. Dr. Barber transitioned to civilian dentistry in 2004 with a 5 year associateship at a group practice in the Fayetteville area before deciding to open her own practice in Fayetteville as a family dentist Fayetteville, NC can trust.
Outside of the office, Dr. Barber is active at her church, serving as a mentor to youths and is a member of the choir. She is happily married to a logistician in the Army and has a beautiful toddler son.
