Dr. Salter attended dental school in Georgia at Medical College of Georgia. She graduated in 1986. She attended Gordon College, Macon College and Abraham Baldwin College for undergraduate degrees. One of her undergraduate degrees was in dental hygiene, which she enjoyed so much that she decided to become a dentist.
She has been in private practice since 1988, after completing a two-year associateship with Dr. Joe Miller in Columbus, Georgia.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists. She has had twenty-five years of clinical experience treating children, teenagers and adults. Dr. Salter has achieved master status with the Academy of General dentistry. This required over five thousand hours of continued post-doctoral education.
Dr. Salter has two children, Nick and Megan, and two Boston Terriers, Ollie and Tess. In her spare time she enjoys boating, fishing, …gardening, songwriting, guitar, cooking, traveling, and is a voracious reader.
