Dr Paul Madlock, DMD, MD

I had Dr. Madlock perform double jaw surgery on me, and it was the worst experience in my life. I developed an infection in my jaw shortly after the surgery and repeatedly expressed my concerns about the amount of pain I was having. He ignored my concerns for several weeks until there was green pus coming out of the incision in my mouth. By this point, the infection had already moved into my bone and began making me incredibly sick. I was taken to the emergency room and admitted to the hospital. When Dr. Madlock was informed of my condition (osteomyelitis), he disagreed with the diagnosis that I was given by three separate doctors. At this point, I didn’t trust him and had to pay several thousand dollars to a new surgeon to care for me. My new surgeon informed me that not only had the infection entered my bone but it had also killed part of my bone (osteonecrosis) and had to be removed from my lower jaw. I had to have five separate surgeries in four months and now have permanent… nerve damage on the lower half of my face resulting from his procedure. Dr. Madlock is not only condescending and rude, but he is not capable of acknowledging/diagnosing issues that may occur after his procedures. This man should not be a doctor, and is a danger to all of his patients

Does not listening to patient issues when it is due to his care. Big on advertising his education, but not explaining procedures, nor follow up care. Plan on waiting a couple hours for your appointment and then hearing about how great of a surgeon he has and that’s why you had to wait. While you were in the waiting room, you can listen to him telling stories with his staff making you wait - basically no regard for patients time nor their health issues

I was sent to Canyon Point after just having a root canal. I still needed to have a hot tooth and nerve pulled due to the great pain I was in. I was grumpy and in pain. I was also frustrated to not knowing how much money all the procedures would cost me. The staff was very patient with me and they were solution focused. Sarah was awesome hearing me and she actually made sure all my concerns had been taken care of. To include she made sure that I received a treatment that they could of charged me a ton of money for. Dr. Madlock exceeded all my expectations. He was compassionate and funny knowing my state of mind and he was also very skilled and thorough completing my treatment. You can tell that he is very skilled and very passionate about his patients and services. I live downtown Denver but I feel that Canyon Point is more than worth the drive and extra miles to receive treatment at this office. I give the five out of five stars.
