Dr. Chilton is highly trained in Comprehensive Dentistry (complete Dentistry).  He is on staff at Highline Medical Center as the Hospital Dentist and is well known for putting patients back together and restoring patients smiles.  Dr. Chilton is highly trained in Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Removable (Dentures/Partials) and Fixed (Crown/Bridges) Prosthodontics and General Dentistry.
Dr. Chilton has been inspired by his passion for teaching and his passion to learn. Between undergraduate and graduate school Dr. Chilton was a teacher at a local community college and learned his passion of teaching. Teaching and education is a backbone of his philosophy of dentistry. Dr. Chilton's journey of dentistry has been shaped by hundreds of hours of continuing dental education, but most influentionally by the teachings of The Pankey Institute (www.pankey.org), the teaching of Dr. John Kois, (www.koiscenter.com), Mary Osborne (www.maryosborne.com) and most recently …extensive education in Implant dentistry. Dr. Chilton is learning the latest in Implant surgery as well as Implant reconstruction. Currently Dr. Chilton is on the direction of education at the highly acclaimed Spear Education learning the latest in reconstructive dentistry (www.speareducation.com). Over the past twenty-one years these institutions, other local dentists and his passion for people and life have all been blended together by Dr. Chilton and his staff to create a fabulous dental practice.
Dr. Paul A. Chilton graduated with honors from University of Puget Sound and The University of Washington School of Dentistry. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Chilton earned additional training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. as a resident in Hospital Dentistry. Here he gained invaluable knowledge and training as well as a deep appreciation for the complexities of complete patient care. He was awarded "Resident of the Year" at the completion of this training and then returned with his family to the Pacific Northwest where he went into private practice in Normandy Park.
At Olympic View Dental, Dr. Chilton provides an atmosphere, which holds all the patients at the center. He states "from phone call to first appointment, a consistent experience from patient to patient that meets each person's individual characteristics while identifying our concerns and ideology".
Dr. Chilton lives in the community of Normandy Park where he was born and raised, and along with his wife Suellen and their three wonderful daughters Morgan, Tess and Kyle, enjoys golf, water sports and snow skiing.
