Dr. Paul D Stevens

So I have a few diseases that I have to take medicine for. When medicine makes your mouth dry, it can decrease the saliva production in your mouth. I came in with a fair amount of cavities due to the medicine and was only met with such horrible disrespect and disregard for me as a person by this dentist. The receptionists were such kind and amazing women but this disgrace of a dentist has made it so I have been afraid to go anywhere else that I'll get the same response. He had no care for the circumstances leading up to my cavities and said, "Well maybe, you should be laying off the suckers."

Excellent, caring dentist. Goes out of his way to keep you comfortable. Very happy with his expertise. He has put a smile on my face!!

Everyone in the office has been amazing. I don't wait longer then 5 minutes before I'm taken back if I wait at all. When I've had serious work done they call and check up later in the day to make sure you're OK.

I went to Dr. Stevens for a few years, and he was never very personable towards me or my family. Why I didn't switch dentists sooner, I don't know, but the final straw was when he told me it looked like nerve damage was starting and I needed a root canal. I wanted to know if I had other options, and he basically told me good luck but I didnâ??t have any other options that would work. So, I did my own research and found ways to help with beginning nerve damage before it gets to the point of needing a root canal, went back six months later and no longer needed a root canal or had any signs of nerve damage. The thing that topped it off was that Dr. Stevens seemed mad when telling me this news. I've never seen any type of doctor react negatively about having a healthy patient. Needless to say, that was the last time I went back to him.
