Paul Grumbach, DDS
Dr.Grumbach graduated from Holy Cross College in 1968 and from the University of Maryland's Dental program in 1972. He served as a staff dentist at the Naval Hospital in Orlando from 1972-1975, and he has been in private practice in Fort Myers since 1976. In 1984, he completed the two year Comprehensive Dentistry Program at the University of Florida's Dental School. Dr. Grumbach and his wife, Pat, have three grown daughters.
Dr. Grumbach is a member of the Lee County Dental Society, the Florida Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Society for Geriatric Dentistry, and the Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities. He is on the staffs of Lee Memorial Hospital and Health Park Medical Center.
In 1980, Dr. Grumbach became the first Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in Lee County, and in 1985 the first Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. In 1996 he became the first Board Certified …general dentist in Southwest Florida. In 1998 Dr. Grumbach received the Distinguished Service Award from the Florida Dental Association for his work with Project: Dentists Care, and in 1999 he was made a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an internation dental honor society, In 2002, Dr. Grumbach was voted the Best Dentist in Southwest Florida by a Fort Myers Newspress survey. In 2008, Dr. Grumbach was the first dentist in southwest Florida to receive the AGD's Lifelong Learning and Service Recongnition award.
