Dr. Hargis was graduated from LC in 1990 with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He attended LSUSD to earn his DDS degree. He then completed a 2-year residency in hospital dentistry at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. In 1997, Dr. Hargis moved back to Central Louisiana to begin practicing; he took over a clinic in Montgomery, Louisiana where he served this rural community for 11 years. In 1999, he opened his own private practice in Prospect, where he remains the only dentist in Grant Parish.
