Dr. Paul Mendes was born and raised in St. Paul. He attended St. Thomas Academy where he received six varsity letters in athletics and was active in student government, serving as the Senior Class President. After graduating from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, he then matriculated to Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska.Â
As a dental student, he had the honor of receiving the Foster Sims Award for Academic Excellence. Upon graduation he earned the Clinical Award in Oral Medicine.
Dr. Paul joined his father’s practice in 2006 and has continued his training through post - graduate courses, with special focus on implantology, endodontics, and adhesive dentistry. He also has a particular interest in treating children.
Paul is expanding his communication skills and is currently an officer in the Toastmasters Group, St. Paul District Dental Society Speaker’s Bureau. He has also volunteered his time and service at …St. Paul’s Union Gospel Mission to provide dental care to those who cannot afford it.
In his spare time, he enjoys attending and watching sporting events of all kinds, playing basketball, rollerblading, working out, and spending time with his family and friends.
