Dr. Wonsavage joined Lyme Road Dental in 2004 after 13 years of having his own Dental Practice in Wilton, Maine. He had been interested for quite a while in finding a way to move the Upper Valley, which he sees as the perfect place to support the healthy-lifestyle he loves and wants to help his patients be able to lead. Personally he really enjoys the blend of small town life, intellectual engagement, and spectacular outdoor opportunities that our area offers. In Dr. McWilliams he found the ideal partner, one who values the comprehensive side of modern dentistry, being actively engaged in the health of his patients.
Having been raised in New England/ Vermont, Dr. Wonsavage graduated cum laude from the University of Utah, and achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Creighton University. In or out of work Dr. Wonsavage likes to stay at the front of the pack. Even as a practicing dentist he has continued his studies and now holds a Mastership from …the Academy of General Dentistry, along with completing eight continuums of study through the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, and a Condensed Residency in Craniofacial pain & Pathofunction, at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
Having competed at elite national levels in both alpine skiing and cycling, Dr. Wonsavage spends much of his free time cycling, and fly-fishing, or chasing his son Max on the slopes and his wife Dorcas (a former Olympian) on the cross-country ski trails.
