Seen her as a walk in waited 3 hours wasn’t even mad at that that’s expected as a walk in registra’s, dental assistant every one was professional she walks in doesn’t say anything I said hello how are you she says nothing she rolls to me than as me what can she do for me I told her I have pain in my right tooth she said what would she like her to do. I told her I don’t have the answers I didn’t study dentistry I came here because I just moved here she asked what doctor did I go to previously I told her I went 3 months ago to a doctor on 148th street she told me to go back to him to fix what ever pain I have now. I looked at her and said if I’m coming here as a walk in in pain shouldn’t you be telling me what u can do to fix the problem she told me all she can do is fill it. Now I don’t know if it’s me but if your a dentist see the problem than you already know what needs to be done. So if I’m saying food is getting into the whole in my tooth shouldn’t filling in be the first option… as opposed to telling me to go see the person who did the route canal. I looked at her and could tell she seen me I’m 29 Spanish my son is with my this my ninth year being a nurse at mount Sinai. I believe she looked at me and thought I was a minority young with a kid and didn’t know year. When I asked her who she was because the lady who did my X-rays said she was doing me a favor by doing that I believed the dental assistant at first was the one attending overseeing the patients so when I ask dr DAI her name she told me it’s on the door. Still when you walk into a room you say hello how are you my name is. I told her to have a bless day and walked out. The 3 hours waiting to be treated like that was horrible belittling and unfortunate because everybody else was very professional. I think she is a undercover racist. She’s there to get her check but not there to treat the patients with respect ! I’m still in shock at how she spoke even with my kid in the room who’s 4.
