He met his future wife at William Jewell College and married in 1977. They have three daughters. He received his Bachelor’s degree from William Jewell College and DDS from University of Missouri – Kansas City, School of Dentistry in 1983. Dr. Raman has received Master Aesthetic Dentist Certification and Neuromuscular Full Mouth Reconstruction Certification from the world-renowned LVI (Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies). LVI provides premier training for dentists from around the world due to its comprehensive postgraduate curriculum. Due to his passion for teaching advanced dental procedures, he was appointed as a Senior Clinical Instructor and Regional Director of LVI. He has instructed and mentored dentists from all regions of U.S.A., Canada, England and Australia. His expertise in Neuromuscular dentistry …earned him Fellowship status with the International College of Cranio Mandibular Orthopedics in 2002 and Mastership status in 2007. There are 55 MICCMO’s in North America. Dr. Raman achieved the highest level of accreditation in the area of Cosmetic and Neuromuscular Dentistry, LVI Mastership (LVIM) in 2008. There are 10 LVIM’s in North America. He is the only dentist that has the distinction of earning both MICCMO and LVIM. Dr. Raman counts himself as particularly blessed, in being able to make a difference in people's lives and make a living doing it.
