Dr. Prashant Kaushik

Prashant Kaushik was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences. The pursuit and honor to improve the smiles of people, began in 2004, after Dr. Kaushik graduated Cum laude from Temple University School of Dentistry and simultaneously obtained his Masters in Business Administration from Temple University Fox School of Business. Dr. Kaushik expanded his skill set to treat medically compromised and hospital based patients by completing a one year dental residency program at Harvard University/Brigham and Women%u2019s Hospital.

In 2005, Dr. Kaushik proudly joined the reputable and caring dental team at Progressive Dental Care. Ever since, Dr. Kaushik has committed himself and his team to provide quality dental care by being on top on the latest advancements and techniques in dentistry. Nearly 2000 hours of continuing dental education later, he was awarded the prestigious Mastership award at …the Academy of General Dentistry in 2009. Dr. Kaushik is very passionate about providing the best possible dental experience while empowering his patients with the knowledge they deserve in making quality decisions relating to their dental needs. The end result is to create a positive journey towards optimum oral and overall health.

Currently, Dr. Kaushik is the president of the Greater Portland Dental Society and is attending a comprehensive, 10-month dental implant continuum at the Medical College of Gerogia in Atlanta. Outside of work, Dr. Kaushik loves to enjoy his time with his wife Ruchi, daughter Malvika, and dog, Odie. He is blessed to be constantly reminded by his family%u2019s presence that happiness lives through your smile.
