Dr. Princeton L Co

Princeton Co is a board-certified hack. Frankly, I can't say much about Co as a dentist. I came to Shoreline Dental as a new patient because my previous dentist retired. I've worked with dentists in three States on both coasts and in both the UK and Germany. Based on my experience, I can confidently say that Princeton Co is a pretentious hack with a dental degree and a drill. My initial visit was for routine cleaning when a remarkable cavity refilling was noted on x-ray images. I expressed my preference for a root canal and crown from the onset, but the good doctor convinced me to have the molar refilled. The filling was carried out by one of his hygienists. I was asked to come in for a follow-up appointment and cleanings every three months instead of the conventional six-months visits. Subsequently, I complained about worsening tooth pain and reiterated my preference for a root canal. In four meetings, I met with Co twice, initially to make his acquaintance and on a second occasion… to tell me to live with the pain until it prevents a good night's sleep! No accurate medical explanations, knowing that I had maxed out my Dental coverage, just hand waving about "saving me money" on a significant procedure. By this time, I was charged for four visits, including x-rays and a cavity filling. The weekend before Thanksgiving, intolerable tooth pain due to "irreversible pulpitis" resulted in an emergency root canal. Unsurprisingly, Co was unavailable the week of Thanksgiving. He prescribed general antibiotics and outsourced the root canal to a specialist. I learned about irreversible pulpitis for the first time from the specialist! Co routinely outsources his root canals to specialists. Because (a) he cannot be bothered to practice the routine, and (b) unlike all healthcare in America, modern dentistry is a racketeering enterprise. Based on some redeeming arguments from Dr. Patel, the root canal specialist, I regrettably went back to Co for the crown. I was scheduled ten days out and received a treatment plan for the crown procedure a day before my appointment. On two occasions, I had to ask for the treatment plan from his staff members explicitly. The treatment included two visits, estimated at $1300 for the crown and additional imaging. I am on the hook for approximately $3K for a single tooth by this time. The best part is, two hours before my appointment, the office manager at Shoreline Dental informs me that they don't offer payment installments. I've worked with dentists in several States on both coasts and in two western European countries. I have never encountered such irresponsible, inflexible, strong-arming nonsense. As I said, Princeton Co is a board-certified hack with a dentistry degree and a drill. He routinely outsources routines and hides behind a staff of women and children that do most of the heavy lifting.
