She was originally inspired to go to dental school by her grandfather, Benny Hawkins, who is a retired Periodontist from the University of Iowa. Practicing general dentistry has been very rewarding for Dr. Reis. She was born and raised in Iowa City, which makes her a huge Hawkeye fan! Moving to the greater Des Moines area and working in Grimes has been an enjoyable and easy transition because she feels at home in the office and community.
