Dr. Randall K Mcvey, DDS

Dr. McVey graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University in 1979 with a B.S. in biology. He graduated from Michael Cardone School of Dentistry at Oral Roberts University in 1983.
Dr. McVey has over 20 years experience serving the dental needs of southwest Kansas. He has helped thousands of people achieve better dental health.
He received the prestigious fellowship award in the Academy of General Dentistry. This means he earned more than 500 hours of post-doctoral education and took and passed a rigorous examination covering all aspects of general dentistry. He is currently working toward the Master level award through a program offered by the Illinois Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. McVey has attended Continuums I through IV plus the Esthetic course at the L.D. Pankey Institute. The L.D. Pankey Institute provides top-of-the-line postdoctoral education in dentistry and is recognized worldwide as one of the leading providers of post-doctoral dental education. He is currently …going through Dr. John Kois' curriculum. Dr. Kois is recognized as a leading expert in treatment planning, diagnosis, and delivery of care.
He has presented a seminar dealing with the effects of oral health on overall health for the staff at St. Catherine's and various area hospitals.
He has done international dental missions in Mexico, Guatemala, Albania and Uganda. He has done general missions in Mexico, Chile, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Spain and Malaysia. He has helped with the local dental Mission of Mercy, regularly participates in a free sealant clinic, and donates free dental care through the Donated Dental Services program in Kansas.
Dr. McVey is very active in the Garden City Presbyterian Church where he teaches, serves on the session and several committees, sings in the choir and plays guitar, piano and sings with the worship team.
His hobbies include music, theater, reading, and spending time with his four children, his wife and his granddaughter.
