In addition, he has been both a member and an officer of many local civic and professional organizations.
He and his wife Judy reside in Palm Beach Gardens. They have a daughter Allyson, a graduate of Florida State University.
Dr. Maiwurm's hobbies include fishing, golf, antique cars, and sports memorabilia.
