Dr. Raymond Skowronski, DDS

My dentist referred me to Dr Ray for a pre existing TMJ problem which was causing daily headaches while eating & sleeping. Dr. Ray did a full exam exam which included X-rays, diagnostic models & photos to determine a diagnosis & treatment for my TMJ dysfunction. PHASE 1: a orthopedic reposting appliance was fabricated to correctly align the TMJ to dial position and allow healing. I had to wear the mouth appliance 24 hrs (even while eating). PHASE 2: Onlay resin comp as done on 7of my lower teeth to establish ideal contact on all teeth. After weeks & months of visits-appointment was needed to align my jaw & teeth to a comfortable position. I'm religiously wearing a night guard to keep from grinding my teeth. Thank you Dr Ray for changing my once frown to a smile now that i'm pain free. I would also like to thank the Skowronski Family Dentistry staff for making this a Great Experience.

My not so favorite thing to do is going to the Dentist. I have gone to many different Dentist and not returned due to the care I received and the unpleasant staff. I was recommended by my son-in-law to try his dentist, Dr. Raymond Skowronski Jr. The office was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I really liked Chris ( teeth cleaning ) she was very nice and I felt she wanted to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Skowronski is very gentle and when he gives injections to numb, he makes it painless. He is a very confident dentist and I love it when he sings. I feel less nervous about going to the Dentist since I have been going to him. I highly recommend him!

I've had for whatever reason a terrible dentist all my life. That is until I was referred to dr. ray 10-15 years ago, absolutely a premier dentist. No doubt the best in the business I assure you...

Being scared of the dentist has caused me to neglect my teeth. When i couldn't take the toothache i had anymore i looked on Angieslist for a good dentist. I found Dr. Ray's office and gave them a call. The lady who answered the phone already made me feel comfortable to come see the dentist. She took the time to answer all my questions and she even checked on my insurance while we were talking. i felt like this lady whos name is erica, cared for me as a person. i didnt feel like she was trying to get me into the office just to make money off my toothache. I was able to get an appointment that same day. When i got to Dr.Ray's office, I was amazed at the atmosphere. Erica greeted me with a handshake and introduced herself. Again, I felt like we had been long time friends. I have never been welcomed to a doctors office like that. Usually, it's a person sitting behind a glass window who doesn't even acknowledge you when you walk up. When i was brough back for my apptointment I could hear… Dr.Ray coming down the hall. He was singing a whitney Houston song. After waiting not even 1 min, I was introduced to Dr.Ray. He took an xray and showed me my broken tooth on the xray. He pointed out the decay that had caused my tooth to become brittle. I didnt feel judged while he was telling me. He told me he could fix it and make the tooth more stable. During the time he was fixing it, i asked if he was going to give me a shot that hurt. Thats what has scared me the most about going to the dentist. He told me he had already put my tooth asleep. At THAT point I was truly AMAZED. I didnt even feel the shot or anything! He told me was almost done. and i was walking out about 10 mins later. SO if YOU are someone like me who is (or i now should say, was) afraid to go to the dentist, then you NEED to go to DR.SKOWRONSKI's office. (He said i could call him Dr.Ray) So GO see Dr.Ray and his staff today. You will thank me for it.
