I grew up in the Wilkes-Barre area but most of my family is from Tennessee. I went to the University of Scranton and received a B.S. in Biology in 1988. I then attended Temple University School of Dentistry and graduated in 1992. After dental school I completed a General Practice Residency at the Wilkes-Barre VA Hospital dealing mainly with the geriatric population.
After completing my residency I worked several years for the dentist I had as a child. I then took a position at the Masonic Homes in Elizabethtown where I could put my residency training to use. I was there for eight years and it was truly a wonderful experience. After leaving the Masonic Homes I was an associate in private practice for 4½ years and then with some pushing from my husband decided to open my own practice. We have been at our current location since 2006.

I love what I do as an everyday profession but my true passion is forensics. As part of DMORT, I was deployed to help with the identification of victims of Hurricane Katrina and most recently with the identification of Americans killed in the earthquake in Haiti. I recently completed a training course with the FBI in West Virginia to help local and state police and coroners offices to help identify missing and unidentified persons.
I live in the Lititz area with my husband Troy and daughter Emily. We love to travel whenever possible and ride the Harley. Most of our time is spent with Emily and just enjoying time together with family and friends.
