Dr. Rebecca Swett began her professional career as a dental hygienist receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at Old Dominion University in 1986.  After practicing dental hygiene for four years, Dr Rebecca made a return to dental school at the Medical College of Virginia having received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1994. A residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center was then completed and she was awarded a Certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr Rebecca continues to advance her education in the Academy of General Dentistry and is eligible for fellowship status in that endeavor.Â
