Dr. Reed K Kuratomi, DDS

I had been a patient of Dr. Kuratomi for many long years. I remained faithful to his practice even amidst many internal changes within the office and personnel. For at least 3 years I had been telling him that I was experiencing discomfort in my right upper back teeth. And requested being checked out. After ex-rays and his personal exam he would tell me -- at times quite impatiently - "There is nothing wrong with you tooth" He was the DDS -- and my doctor -- But my discomfort continued. Even after a root canal in my right back molar - my discomfort continued. I felt my entire system fading and I was feeling very out of balance. In frustration , I finally left his practice and went to a new dentist nearer my home. At the very first visit the new guy noticed and diagnosed a leaky crown in the very area where my discomfort and pain was located. Within a couple of weeks he had repaired the leaky crown - which was wonderful. Unfortunately, the infection that had… been running rampant within my mouth, jaw, sinus and system at large had its affect on me and it has taken me the better part of 1 1/2 years to get myself back to feeling better -- and nearly healthy again. I caution anyone who puts faith in this doctor to be aware of his shortcomings as far as diagnosis is concerned. I only wish I had left the practice years ago before the poisons leaking into my system became so extensive. The office has excellent dental hygienists -- and that was the reason I was reluctant to leave. Yet had I not -- my infection from that constantly leaking crown might have further ruined my health. So -- definitely be wary -- new patients -- present patients -- all patients.

The hygienists remember each patient and do an excellent job. You can tell this place really cares about each patient. And they give out flowers which always makes me smile.
