Dr. Renee Allen Dyken

Dr. Dyken received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry with high honors from the University of South Alabama in 1990 and completed her four-year dental degree with honors at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. She remained in Birmingham to complete three years of specialty training in orthodontics and to obtain her post-doctoral master's degree.
Dr. Dyken is proud to have completed Phase III of the American Board of Orthodontics exam. The American Board of Orthodontics is the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists. A minority of orthodontists have completed Phase III of the exam. Dr. Dyken is committed to striving for excellence for her patients. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Alabama Dental Association, the Alabama Alumni Association, and the American Association of Women Dentists. She served as …the South Baldwin Dental Study Club president in 2000-2001.
Dr. Dyken balances her time between her two great passions: her family and her orthodontic career. Dr. Dyken and her husband, Dr. Jason Dyken, have been married for 10 years and are blessed with three sons (Jace, Landon, and Colton) and one daughter (Carmon). In her spare time, Dr. Dyken enjoys running (mostly after her three boys), reading, kayaking and traveling to orthodontic continuing education courses.
Dr. Bailey graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Birmingham Southern College in 1997. He completed his four-year dental degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 2001. He remained in Birmingham to complete a fellowship in advanced dentistry from UAB Hospital. Dr. Bailey then completed three years of specialty training in orthodontics to obtain his post-doctoral master’s degree from UAB. Dr. Bailey moved from Birmingham to join Dr. Dyken’s practice in 2005.
Dr. Bailey has successfully completed Phase I and II of the American Board of Orthodontics, the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Bailey is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, the Southern Association of Orthodontist, the Alabama Alumni Association, the South Baldwin Study Club and the American Association of Orthodontists. He served as the South Baldwin Dental Study Club president in 2007-2008.
Dr. Bailey and his wife, Heather Scarsbrook Bailey, married in 2005 and live in Orange Beach. In his spare time, Dr. Bailey enjoys attending continuing education courses, fishing and spending time on the beach with Heather and their dog, Kirin.
