Please..whatever you do..DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!!! I've never in my life been treated so terribly by a doctor. His behavior is abusive, and he seems to want to fight with his patients. I went to him for a consultation to get a tooth extracted. When I arrived they had me down as getting it pulled that day. I made it crystal clear I wanted to be put to sleep. He argued that he doesn't do consultations, and the woman I spoke to worked there for 17 years, and basically accused me of lying! I could not understand why he would treat me like that? He said it said I was thinking of getting put to sleep, and continued to argue with me. The door was wide open and all of his staff heard. He left the room without saying goodbye and I was still in shock. When I walked out a woman looked at me wide eyed. I was so upset and embarrassed. I've been dealing with serious health issues, and to even drive to this appointment was difficult. I voiced my outrage to the girl at the desk saying how I was told it was for a consultation, and if I planned on getting sedated wouldn't they have had to give me information prior? Another woman came out to apologize saying she heard the whole thing and would speak to him. She started rubbing my back, because it was pretty obvious I was very upset. They encouraged me to make the appointment with him because he's the best, and is gentle. So, I did. After driving home, I decided no way would I trust this guy after the way he treated me. I received a call from the office manager to talk about what had happened. She was extremely nice, and switched me to another doctor at the practice. The next day I received a call from her stating they had a meeting and decided I needed to keep my appointment with Dr. Deasy, and if not I wouldn't be allowed to be seen by anyone else at the practice. I said there's no way I'd want to see him, he should be calling to apologize. Someone called on my behalf, and I received a call stating he'd give me a discount on the anesthesia for what happened. I said that's a nice gesture, but at this point, I'd rather wait and see someone else. I then received another call saying he's allow me to be seen by another doctor there, because now he felt bad. I knew this wasn't true because he actually lied to the person who spoke to him saying he offered the anesthesia for free. I truly feel bad for his staff, they are wonderful, but there is something seriously wrong with him. I've never encountered this type of aggressive, abusive behavior from a doctor. He shouldn't be dealing with people with that disgusting attitude, it's utterly appalling.
