Dr. Richard F Worley

Dr. Worley (Rick) grew up in Wichita, Kansas in and around aircraft. His father was a World War II fighter pilot, then Chief Test Pilot at Cessna Aircraft in Wichita and Dr. Worley worked at Cessna through his college and dental training. His mother was the dental assistant for a prominent Wichita dentist and was an early influence upon his career choice. His sister Barbara lives and works in Mill Valley, California just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. He graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1971 then came to Denver, completing a General Dental Residency at St. Anthony’s Hospital in 1972. He has been in practice for over 30 years and has dedicated his professional career to providing you with the best that dentistry has to offer. He and his staff maintain a rigorous schedule of continuing education on the newest dental techniques and advances in order to provide you with state of the art, comfortable, personalized and …antiseptic dental care.

Dr. Worley practices forensic dentistry, having assisted several area law enforcement agencies and is currently serving on the federal DMORT mass disaster team (a part of FEMA and the Department of Health and Human Services), and as a Forensic Consultant to the Colorado State Board of Dental Examiners. Dr. Worley is also an assistant clinical professor at University of Colorado School of Dentistry. Although Dr. Worley is a dedicated health care professional, he does have interests outside dentistry. He drives in amateur sports car racing with THE SPORTS CAR CLUB OF AMERICA. His racing team, BICUSPID RACING, currently campaigns a Lola Sport 2000 and sponsors KIDS IN NEED OF DENTISTRY (KIND) Dr. Worley was the founder of the Race for KIND Smiles, a charity sports car racing event which provided over $50,000 for KIND over three years the event was held. When a new metro Denver road racing facility is constructed, he hopes to revive the Race for KIND Smiles. Dr. Worley has belonged to the Toastmasters Club for 30 years and continues to do some public speaking. Dr. Worley also supports his community. He is a volunteer dentist with KIND and provides dental care for many needy children each year. Dr. Worley retired in August of 2005 from the Denver Police Department, having served for 25 years as a Reserve patrolman contributing approximately 32 hours per month to the Denver community as an unpaid volenteer police officer. Dr. Worley served in every area of Denver including undercover work with vice and narcotics. He appreciates his police brotherhood and is proud to have removed more than a few bad guys from the streets of Denver.
