Dr. Richard M Freimauer

Dr. Freimauer always makes me feel like my dental issues are most important to him-he's great because he listens to my concerns and addresses them- I don't feel like I'm in an in-and out factory. Of course, I see him for regular check-ups, but when I do have an issue, he makes time in his busy schedule to see me ASAP. I always feel comfortable in his office, and trust his work implicitly. On my first visit I told him that I hated to smile because I didn't like the way my front teeth looked- and he did cosmetic magic, and I smile all of the time! He is compassionate, patient, and professional. Previously, I was always nervous going to the dentist, but Dr. Freimauer makes me comfortable and confident. He's great!

I had been going to Dr. Freimauer for 35 years before I moved out of state. I just returned from my Florida dentist who was amazed at the longevity and good condition of my fillings. Some are 35 years old!! He said Dr. Freimauer does wonderful work. I couldn't agree more.

been going here for a long time 15+yrs. Dr. Freimauer is great. friendly, personable, professional and bends over backwards to accommodate scheduling. i called the office one summer some years ago w/ a concern. the doctor was on vacation somewhere in the islands and called me to tell me if it was an emergency i could go to another doctor who was covering for him! how many health professionals do that?

Was looking for a new dentist in my area, but unfortunately I think I selected the wrong one, even after seeing a good review on Healthgrades. Too much talking about personal things that I really wasn't interested in - very distracting and a bit obnoxious. Talked all through the examination and the cleaning, while taking his mask on and off (eek!). Not used to his methods of cleaning teeth - applied toothpaste with gloved finger and all at once, not a section at a time. No spit sink near the chair, so the receptionist/dental assistant (?) squirted water while using suction to get all the grit out of my mouth. Then I proceeded to the bathroom to rinse out. I appreciated his alternate suggestions for certain issues I'm having, but his office needs a complete overhaul and some modern equipment. I signed an insurance form, but was asked NOT to date it. I should have asked why since when I got home that seemed like something "fishy" going on there. I'm going to follow up with my insurance… company to see what I was actually charged for. I've decided to see someone else and wish him all the best. Quite a "weird" experience for me.

Dental care and procedures are fine. However, the Dr. is very chatty and often in an offensive way. The office is archaic when it comes to technology and dealing with insurance. If you have anything outside of routine your insurance will be screwed up and then the Dr. will harass you with phone calls to get paid what didn't get covered by the insurance (because he submitted it wrong MULTIPLE times).
