After receiving his B.A. degree in Psychology in 1966 from Tulane University, Dr. Richard Geronemus attended New York University College of Dentistry, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1971.
With his formal education complete, Dr. Geronemus joined the United States Air Force and was stationed at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, South Carolina. During his two years as a Captain, he rotated through several specialty departments, treating Air Force personnel and their families.
In 1973, Dr. Geronemus joined his father's dental practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and worked alongside him for 25 years until his father retired. He continues to carry on the family tradition today. He has been married to his wife, Faye, for 41 years and is the proud father of two daughters and a son, each with wonderful spouses. Dr. Geronemus has been on the board of the Broward County Dental Society and a member of the American Dental Association. He received the prestigious honors of being a Fellow and Board member of the American Society of Dental Aesthetics as well as a Fellow of the International Academy for Dental Aesthetics.
