Married for over 25 years to actress Julia Barr, Dr. Hirschlag has one daughter who lives in NYC pursuing a career in theater. He and his wife are animal lovers (they have adopted a menagerie of rescued pets over the years). Dr. H is an avid musician and has recorded a CD with his wife and daughter, which benefits the Humane Society. (CDs are available in the office for a small contribution).
