Dr. McCann grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania and attended King's College where he earned a B.S. degree in Biology. He went on to graduate from Temple University School of Dentistry, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. McCann is Northeast Regional Board Certified and a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. McCann and his wife, Nina, and son, Colin, have lived in Salisbury, Maryland since 1989. His outside interests include, golf, fly fishing, skiing and traveling.
Christine Marie Woodhouse
As the office administrator Chris brings over twenty two years of dental office experience to the table, sixteen of those working with Dr. McCann and his staff. Chris insists on a "Patient First" focus in order to ensure the patient is offered a warm, comfortable and compassionate experience. She has in-depth knowledge and understanding of the many dental procedures and will help the potential patient gain a better understanding of …what needs to be done and how the procedure will be carried out.
Chris also has extensive knowledge of the insurance industry combined with many years of working as a liaison between the insurance companies and the patient. In addition, she is well versed in available alternative payment options. Chris's broad knowledge and understanding of the dental field, dental insurance as well as alternative payment opportunities allows her to work with our patients to optimize their treatment plans while utilizing the best, most advantageous payment options available.
Julie Joudrey,
Senior Dental Hygienist
Julie is a life-long resident of Salisbury where she attended Salisbury University. She currently resides locally with her husband, Guy, and their three dogs Buddy, Bandit, and Corkey. She enjoys scrapbooking, gardening, and snow skiing.
She attained her Dental Hygiene degree from Allegany College in Cumberland, Maryland in 1990. Julie has been a dedicated member of Dr. McCann's staff her entire career. Initially with Dr. McCann at his first location and then continuing with his practice when he moved to the Winterplace Park location. She has been a practicing dental hygienist for 19 plus years. Kathleen M. LeCates,
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kathleen M. LeCates, otherwise known as Missy, graduated from Delmar High School in 1987. In 1991, she started working as a dental assistant for Dr. McCann and then decided to persue a Dental Hygiene career. After four years of part-time and then full-time college, Missy graduated from Delaware Technical Community College in May 1995 with an Associate Degree of Applied Science. She was inducted in both Phi Theta Kappa Society and Sigma Phi Dental Hygiene National Honor Society.
Missy has been married to her husband Russell for 19 years and they live in Delmar with their 3 sons: Calvin, 18, Hunter, 13, and Trey, 10. All of her sons are athletes, playing both baseball and soccer as well as band for Hunter. Besides enjoying their never-ending games, Missy's other hobbies include scrapbooking and reading.
Ashley Johnson
Registered Dental Hygienist
Ashley is originally from Silver Spring, MD and has been a resident of Salisbury for 7 years now. As a newly wed, she currently resides locally with her husband, Brandon, and their black labrador retriever, Raven. Ashley enjoys dancing, traveling, and reading.
As a graduate of University of Maryland- Baltimore, she attained a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene in 2010. Ashley is enthusiastic about improving oral health and meeting the needs of her patients. With a gentle touch and caring spirit, she hopes to make each patient experience comfortable and enjoyable.
