About Dr. Richard A. Racanelli
Dr. Racanelli is a native New Yorker who recently opened his state of the art dental practice, Aesthetic Dentistry of Las Vegas, in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Racanelli graduated with a DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2001, after receiving his BS in Biology from Villanova University in 1997. Dr. Racanelli completed a combined seven year accelerated program between Villanova University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, allowing him to finish college and dental school in seven years instead of the usual eight.
Upon dental school graduation, Dr. Racanelli pursued his interest in oral surgery by completing a one year fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2002. This fellowship allowed Dr. Racanelli to learn advanced techniques in oral surgery and implantology that he continues to implement into general practice today. From …2002-2003, Dr. Racanelli attended the General Practice Residency in general dentistry at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. This type of program allows a dentist to gain invaluable experience in all areas of dentistry before working in private practice. During this program, Dr. Racanelli developed his love for cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, which has since become his passion.
Dr. Racanelli has continually refined his knowledge and experience in comprehensive aesthetic restorative dentistry over the last several years and now devotes a large percentage of his practice to creating beautiful, natural smiles. Dr. Racanelli combines scientific precision and skill with artistic visualization to achieve the esthetic results his patients desire.
