Dr. Richard Steckler, a Jupiter Dentist since 1981, has been awarded a prestigious honor of Fellowship in the International Academy of Dental Facial Aesthetics. The honor was presented at a meeting of IADFA which was held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in conjunction with the greater New York Dental meeting.
…Dr. Steckler said, "It was a wonderful experience to be recognized and included with some of the very best clinicians in the world who are involved with cosmetic dentistry".
At Dr. Steckler's table alone was a Dentist from Peru, France, Italy and Afghanistan - truly an international group. There were 40 Dentists in total that received their fellowships.
He also is a Rotarian, A Board Member of the Jupiter Hospital Ambassadors, and on the Jupiter Hospital Board of Trustees.
Dr. Steckler believes strongly in Pro Bono work and has been involved in many charitable events, as well as "The Smile for Life Foundation", "Garth Brooks' Teammates for Kids Foundation" and "Challenger Little League Baseball" which benefited over 350 children’s charities. He is also working in conjunction with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, "Give Back a Smile" program, providing battered women with a newly restored complimentary smile. Dr. Steckler takes many elective courses and training, including Diagnosis and Treatment of Masticatory System Problems with the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, Equilibration: Diagnosis and Treatment of Occlusal Problems, also mini dental implant training at the Dental Implant Training Centre and F.I.R.S.T. Laboratories, LLC., and Oral Sedation Dentistry training from Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.
Noted for his beautiful smile designs, Dr. Steckler appeared on ABC- TV's "Palm Beach Makeover". His lifelike creations are crafted by some of the finest dental laboratories in the country.  Dr. Steckler's attention to detail gives each patient a smile that reflects their desire for the smile of a lifetime.
Dr. Steckler has also been a guest on other TV programs and is featured in many magazines including "Vive".  Dr. Steckler has a radio show on Seaview 960 am and 95.9 FM on Saturday mornings from 8:30 am to 9:00 am, where he accepts dental questions on the air.
