Dr. Ricki Lee Finstad, DDS

The Setting: Dr. Finstad is the Dentist, Chris manages the office and Madison is first assist. Working together, they have superpowers! The Dental Fear: Absolutely involuntary for me. I was referred to Dr. Finstad by family in the early 1990's and had a good first-visit feeling. Even through my severe anxiety I felt the genuine caring nature in the office. I continue to choose to have him and his office associates provide for my Dental health care needs. Although I still have involuntary anxiety reactions (teeth chattering, arm and leg tremors) I trust Dr. Finstad, Chris, and Madison implicitly. The Qualities: Dr. Finstad is professional, confident, knowledgeable, kind, caring, very friendly, has an easy-going Dental chair manner, considerate, understanding, gentle, concerned, he listens to his patients, explains exactly what he is going to do, his concerns, his diagnoses and his treatment plan. Explanations given by him and his office are easy-to understand. He… is a productive educator. Oh! And a Fantastic Dentist. Chris, who manages his office, has these qualities as well. She adds a listening ear for her patients and families and her good nature encourages smiles as we end our appointments and leave the office. Flexibility is awesome. I have called multiple times with Dental pain. The team sees me the same day! Chris is the perfect start and end to a Dental visit. Laughter and smiles are therapeutic. Madison is quietly calming and soothing (which I dearly appreciate). She is confident and gentle and lets me know she cares and is present during my time in the Dental chair. The Finale: I have had Dental cleanings (performed by Dr. Finstad himself), fillings for cavities, tooth extraction, root canals, crown placements and a bite guard for nightly use. Each of these procedures were attended to by Dr. Finstad. Over the span of 23 years, I have had minimal swelling and pain (most of the time no swelling or pain) as a result of Dr. Finstad's excellence. And can you imagine?? Dr. Finstad has a patient with chattering teeth! That seems rather challenging and instills deeper trust and gratitude for my Dentist!! Dr. Finstad and Chris and Madison are truly impressive. I am also a health care professional and I give the highest recommendation for Dr. Finstad and his office associates.
