Born and raised in Fox Chase, Dr. Carber has maintained his commitment to the local community, attending LaSalle College High School, Princeton University and earning a DMD at Temple Dental School. He began his practice in General Dentistry at a family friendly office in Roslyn and eventually moved his practice and patients to the Abington area. Most recently, our practice has found a wonderful new home in a brand new building diagonally across from the Abington Library, and it definitely feels like home! On the personal side, Bob, his wife Maggie and their two children make their home in Maple Glen, where they can be found participating in many school and community events.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Carber has continued his dental education on a ongoing basis, taking courses ranging from orthodontics to implants, and strives to implement all that he has learned into continually improving and updating his dental techniques and care. In this …environment of burgeoning medical research, dentistry is no exception, and Bob feels strongly that it is vitally important to stay on top of continuing developments and innovations to provide the best care he can for his patients.
A strong believer in the interaction between good dental health and overall general well-being, Dr. Carber works hard to promote the concept of good dental hygiene and routine dental care to ensure that small problems are identified early and resolved long before they become large problems. That being said, his over 25 years of experience and continuing education have left him well prepared to deal with most dental situations he might encounter, and he has a wealth of satisfied patients who can attest to his abilities to maintain and renew their smiles.
