Robert Drew Schick, D.D.S is a 1998 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Dr Schick worked ten years in advertising after completing his Bachelor’s in Business Administration at the University of Oklahoma in 1982. In his early thirties with the support of his wife, Margaret, Dr. Schick decided to follow his dream and went back to college to complete his science prerequisites and was then accepted into dental school.
Upon graduating from dental school, the Schick’s decided there was no place like home to pursue their profession and raise their family. Dr. Schick’s family has resided in Duncan since 1895. His father, Robert Dee Schick, practiced dentistry in Duncan for forty years. The perfect opportunity for Dr. Schick to continue the family tradition in private dental practice came when his father retired in 1999.
Dr Schick and his wife, Margaret, have been married for nearly 30 years, both graduated from Duncan High School and they have two …children, a son Jonathan, a student at the University of Oklahoma and a daughter Mackenzie who is presently in school in Duncan.
Dr. Schick is actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America with Duncan’s Troop 434 as well as involvement on the district level. Dr Schick and Jonathan are both Eagle Scouts. When not “scouting,” Dr. Schick enjoys hiking, camping and horseback riding, following OU sports, and working on the farm.
The last seven years Dr. Schick has worked very hard to update and modernize his office using state of the art technology allowing the practice to provide the highest quality dental treatment in the most comfortable environment. He and his staff are dedicated to maintaining these standards through current continuing education courses. Our primary focuses being periodontal health and restorative work that achieves and maintains optimal dental health. Today’s materials allow us to provide excellent structural and functional dentistry with great cosmetics as the "icing on the cake".
