Dr. Robert M Marchi

Dr. Robert Marchi was born and raised in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, where he attended Deer Lakes High School until graduation in 1971. Dr. Bob then entered the University of Pittsburgh for his undergraduate and graduate degrees. He went on to earn his Doctor of Mental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1981. During that time, Dr. Bob was selected to work in the advanced prosthodontics clinic in the University of Pittsburgh Dental School. In addition, he was elected to the Student Council of the Dental School, served as Vice-President of his graduating Dental class and was elected President of the Dental fraternity. During his years of practice, Dr. Bob is currently and was a member of a number of organizations in the Dental Community, including serving as Vice-President and President to some. These organizations include the American Dental Association, the Dental Society of Western Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the …Alle-Kiski Chapter of the PDA. Additionally, Dr. Bob was a member of the Board of Governors for the Western PA Dental Society. Lastly, Dr. Bob has had the great fortune to have won the Readers Choice Best Dentist Award given annually by the Valley News Dispatch 7 out of the last 8 years.
Upon graduation, Dr. Bob started his practice Natrona Heights in 1981, finally settling in his own 2,500 square foot custom facility, where he currently resides. He continues to expand his practice as he builds his business and relationships throughout the Alle-Kiski Valley and surrounding areas. In order to provide his growing clientele with the most optimal service, Dr. Bob diligently seeks continuing education and regularly attends monthly seminars at a number of different locations including the University of Pittsburgh, University of Pennsylvania, and Temple University, directed through the American Dental Association. He also consistently brings cutting-edge technology into his practice to provide patients with easy, convenient, top quality dental care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Bob keeps himself busy with his hobbies of reading, exercising, and spending quality time with close family. One of his favorite hobbies is acting as a referee at local middle school and high school basketball games in the community. When not visiting with his local family near his hometown, Dr. Bob also loves to travel and visit his two children: Kaitlin and Robert. Kaitlin is pursuing her professional career and graduate studies in Maryland, while Robert completes his undergraduate degree and internship at Xavier University in Ohio. Dr. Bob is also a die-hard University of Pittsburgh fan, and utilizes his membership to the Pitt Athletic Association every chance he gets. Last but certainly not least, when Dr. Bob needs some rest and relaxation, he heads to his family camp on Bull Creek with the family dog, Bandit.
