Dr. Mortimer is a lifelong resident of the Pittsburgh area. He attended Baldwin High School, Bethany College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Hospital where he focused on surgical orthodontics. He completed his Orthodontic Residency in 1990 and has practiced Orthodontics exclusively since that time. Dr. Mortimer returned to Pittsburgh as an Associate Clinical Professor of Graduate Orthodontics; providing didactic and clinical instruction.
Dr. Mortimer maintains the continuous pursuit of education as he travels throughout the country attending continuing education courses. He works diligently to be on the cutting edge of technological advancements in Orthodontics and Dentistry, while maintaining the fundamentals of their classic educations.
Dr. Mortimer is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the American Association of Orthodontists and the Pennsylvania Society of Orthodontists.
