Biography - Robert Herman, D.D.S.
Dr. Herman was born and raised in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area and received his undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of Maryland. After completing a general practice residency at York Hospital in York, PA, he opened Bethesda Dental Care in 1991, where he has practiced honest, ethical and top-quality family dentistry ever since. In addition, Dr. Herman spends much of his free time attending continuing education courses to stay abreast of the latest dentistry technology and techniques, bringing that expertise to patients every day. In fact, Washington Consumers' Checkbook magazine (www.checkbook.org) recently named Dr. Herman as a "top-rated dentist!"
Dr. Herman is married and the father of two daughters. He's active in sports and outdoor recreation.

For both children and adults, confidence and happiness can flow directly from the way you present yourself. And a dazzling smile is the best first impression you can make! We also believe that getting that smile doesn't have to involve needless pain. Our use of topical anesthetics, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and even anti-anxiety medications is all designed to make your experience as comfortable as possible. We don't even charge a fee for the nitrous oxide. Why? Because our first concern is that you have a positive experience, so you'll keep coming back to us! Your teeth will thank you!
