Born and raised in Napa, Dr. Tandy now makes Ukiah, California his home. He and his wife Carolyn have lived here for more than 20 years. They raised 3 daughters and now the family has expanded to include 3 sons-in-law and 8 grandchildren. One of Dr. Tandy's favorite forms of relaxation is spending time with his children and grandchildren whenever possible.Â
After earning his Bachelor of Science Degree at Pacific Union College, Dr. Tandy Went on to complete his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Loma Linda University. A personal invitation from the Dean resulted in a residency at the University. Awarded a Masters of Science Degree in Periodontology, he also completed University and Hospital training in anesthesiology. He has enjoyed practicing in his profession for more than 40 years.
Dr. Tandy has long been a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the California Society of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Redwood …Empire Dental Society. He is also a supporter of the Ukiah Symphony, Plowshares Food Bank, the Ukiah Boys and Girls Club and the Ukiah Community Center. He is also a member of Rotary International and the Ukiah Chamber of Commerce. Â
