Dr. Robert W Jacobs, DDS

I saw Dr. Jacobs as a child and surprised I don't see him in my sleep now at the age of 24. Being told to "stop acting like a baby" while receiving a local anesthetic and to "shut up" while drilling- was an absolute terror. My experiences with this dentist is the main contributing factor (if not, the only factor) i am still an anxious wreck before having dental work done. I am leaving this review to warn, not rant. Since last seeing Doctor Jacobs at the age of 7, I have had 2 surgeries to correct his work. The fear I have of dentists has caused me to take great care of my teeth in hopes that I could avoid the dentists entirely but recently chipped a tooth and received care (from another dentist of course) the difference in experiences was A relief to say the least, after creating a follow up appointment and walking out to my car, I couldn't help but wonder how many other children he has affected in the same way and disappointed to know he was still in practice.

I saw this dentist when I was a child and he capped an infected tooth which caused health issues, he pulled two of the wrong teeth as well as telling me to shut up, locking me in a room and generally just had bad bedside manner.
