Summary
Screening Initiative developed by Roderick MacRae, III, DDS, of the Columbia University School of Dental Medicine
and Erin Ray Pascaretti, RD, MPH, of the Putnam County Department of Health. Dr. MacRae will describe the
process for creating a county wide school screening program, including the steps needed to: create partnerships; set
up structures for both screening and referral mechanisms; providing appropriate information and consent letters to
school districts and parents, and providing the proper forms for screening and data gathering.
Although this will be a recorded presentation, we invite component dental society leadership, executive directors, and
any dental health professionals interested in the power of public/private partnerships, to participate by submitting
questions by May 13th to Lou Carol Lecce at [email protected] Dr. MacRae will set aside time during his
presentation to answer your questions. We welcome and invite your participation. This program is being …offered free
