Dr. Burton began practicing dentistry in the United States Army Dental Corp from 1983 to 1986. He then practiced privately until 1999 in Thousand Oaks, CA. In 1999, he began focusing primarily on teaching. In addition to numerous hours of continuing education, he has also attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and the Seattle Institute, and has served on the faculty at UCLA.
He currently continues to practice full-time restorative dentistry, and serves as:

Training Director of Pacific Dental Lab
Director of Education for Conejo Valley Dental Institute
Dr. Rod Burton enjoys golfing and camping on the weekends. He continues to further his education in many areas as well as teaching several types of classes and meetings. He enjoys being with his wife and family.
